The POWER-less COAL in the U.S. Market!
The coal industry in the U.S. has had it from all the corners, when it was working hard to corner the markets.
My wife Samantha who works with Web Listings Inc. knows a lot more about different industries than me; no wonder, she is always hooked up to her computer doing work for her clients.
She was the first to share the story with me; yes, the low price of domestic natural gas and prevailing economic uncertainties in Europe has BADLY shown over the coal industry.
For the U.S. coal sector – it seems things are changing for the BAD, with MORE production cut-downs on the scene; the coal companies are worried, because the utility customers are going more for low-priced domestic natural gas than the thermal coal.
The coal companies are quite uncertain about the New Year they are already in; be it Peabody Energy Corporation with operations in the U.S. and Australia, or Patriot Coal Corporation, or others – nobody is getting good signals from any of the corners they are operating things on. Well!
The coal-sector is eyeing up the world-economy that had taken its toll on it; let us wait to see things change for everyone, for the better!
